THE PARISIAN STORY

Parisian was founded in 1919. For four generations we have stayed true to our niche, making neckwear and leather belts in New Zealand.

Our story begins on a train journey across America, a voyage in search for a new idea. Our founder met a gentleman who showed him how the modern tie was made.
A sketch on a napkin was tucked into his pocket and travelled with him back home to New Zealand. From this pattern, his eldest daughter Ruby sewed our first tie.

As the company has passed down through four generations of family custody, so has the spirit of exploration and values of craft, quality and care.

Today we continue to comb the globe for the finest materials, bringing them home to our residence on the edge of Myers Park in the heart of our city. Here we apply our traditional expertise, transforming them into collection pieces, unique to us.
